Senior Software Engineer

Lusaka, Zambia

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise health-insurance software that improves business operations, enhances member experiences, and digitizes critical insurance processes.

Helped design enterprise insurance modules: claims management, sales, membership onboarding, preauthorisation, underwriting, claims assessing, and premium quotation.
Built a membership premium-quotation module (Laravel + Next.js) that improved sales-team quotation speed and accuracy.
Designed and shipped the SES Connect member mobile app from concept to production — published to Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Developed APIs and backend services integrating internal business systems with customer-facing web and mobile apps.
Designed and optimized SQL/MySQL database structures for performance and reliability.
Worked across the full SDLC with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineers.
